For the 11th consecutive year, ACE Cash Express employees have participated in Junior Achievement’s JA In A Day program. Volunteers spend a day at local schools to teach students lessons about the importance of entrepreneurship, financial literacy and getting an education.
“Junior Achievement is a long-standing community service program with our employees,” said Eric Norrington, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at ACE. “Volunteers enjoy their time with the students and leave knowing they’ve made a lasting impression on children in our community.”
In addition to contributing volunteer hours, ACE’s annual donation of $25,000 supports Junior Achievement’s mission to promote interactive financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship education.
“700 students in the Dallas-area will be better prepared for the future thanks to ACE Cash Express. The organization’s investment of funds and employee time allows us to change young lives through JA curriculum focused on how money management, careers, and business ownership work. Our student impact would not be possible without partners like ACE,” said JA Dallas President, Jan Murfield.
ACE’s charitable giving program, The Community Fund, is committed to empowering organizations that help children, provide education and promote financial literacy in the communities it serves. To date, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $11 million to organizations across the nation.
