ACE is also hosting tax preparer pop-up shops in select store lobbies. If you have a more complicated return and need assistance with filing or just have a few questions, call the ACE store nearest you and ask what tax services are available.
Cash Your Tax Refund at ACE
Bring in Your Tax Refund Check
ACE stores have longer service hours than many banks, and unlike some check cashers or grocery stores, ACE has cash on hand – even for large checks. Just bring in your tax refund check and a valid, government-issued photo ID to get started.
ACE accepts local, state, and federal government tax refund checks. We also accept checks from non-government sources, such as tax preparation firms Jackson Hewitt®, H&R Block®, and more.

Withdraw Cash from a Tax Refund Card
If you received your tax refund on a prepaid card or a debit card, you can withdraw cash at an ACE location near you. ACE has cash on hand to serve you, even if you need to withdraw a large amount.

Get Assistance with Filing Your Return at Select ACE Locations
As part of the ACE Tax Program, tax preparers can request lobby space for a pop-up shop. Depending on the level of participation in the program, several ACE locations have a tax preparer available to assist consumers with filing their taxes. So, if you have a more complicated return, such as accounting for multiple sources of income or operating your own business, contact an ACE store near you to find out if that location has a lobby pop-up shop for tax season.
Tax Preparers: Interested in Joining the ACE Tax Program?
Maximize your earnings during tax season with ACE’s Check Cashing Referral Program and Lobby Pop-Up Program! Anyone who prepares income tax returns for the public or works in a tax preparation office is eligible. All you have to do is register to join the ACE Tax Program.2
Earn Commissions with the Check Cashing Referral Program
Once you’ve registered as a Tax Program Member, give your clients your unique referral code to use when they visit an ACE store. When your referred client cashes a tax refund check or debit card at ACE using your code, you will earn a percentage commission from ACE’s fee. Access Potential Clients with the Lobby Pop-Up Program
Select ACE stores have lobby space available for tax preparers to open a pop-up shop to serve potential clients. Avoid the time, hassle, and expense3 of securing your own retail space, and take advantage of this high-traffic time at ACE! Only one tax preparer is allowed per location, so inquire soon to request the location most advantageous to you.
